I have attempted to install NetBurner Virtual Comm Port Ver 2.1 serval times, on a new Windows 10 laptop HP, as an administrator with and with out security enabled. Results always end with (sec_ConnectService failed with error – 2.
I previously had version 2.0 on a Windows 7 laptop that work great.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi John,
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve had some trouble with running the application. This error means that a service that is supposed to be created during installation isn’t running. When reinstalling, are you running the uninstaller first, or just deleting the
VirtualCommPort
folder found in thenburn
directory? I would also suggest trying to delete the installer and redownloading it from our website. If you run into any further problems, please don’t hesitate to email us at sales@netburner.com. I will keep an eye out for your response here or your email so that we can proceed from there.Kind Regards,
Jon
