  • Two Quad-Channel Periodical Interrupt Timers (PIT) – 32-bit timers with periodical interrupt generation (1 chainable 64-bit timer.)
  • Four Quad Timers (QTimer) with a total of 6 I/O signals – Four-channel 16-bit chainable timers for each.
  • Four FlexPWMs – Quad 16-bit resolution PWM, A/B/X capture/compare. 48 total interruptible time counts. 28 total I/O.
  • Four Quadrature Encoder/Decoders
  • Three Watchdog Timers
  • And more! See Specifications and the datasheet PDF under Documents and Downloads for details.

FlexIO module

The MODRT1171’s 32-channel FlexIO module can be configured as I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, 68K 8080 parallel bus, or PWM/ Waveform Generation. It’s a generic serial to parallel or parallel to serial interface that can even operate as a limited state machine.

And much more:

See the data sheet above for complete information on this powerful, affordable new module!

Design and Configure Pinouts with our Convenient New Tool:

The MODRT1171 is so flexible, most pins can be used for many functions. In order to save you the trouble of digging through tons of documentation (and to give you easy drop-in schematic symbols!) we’ve made an easy Pin Configurator tool. You can look up the various functions for each pin, customize each pin’s function, and download C++ initialization code or a KiCad symbol for your device:
