Timers and PWMs

- Two Quad-Channel Periodical Interrupt Timers (PIT) – 32-bit timers with periodical interrupt generation (1 chainable 64-bit timer.)

FlexIO module
The MODRT1171’s 32-channel FlexIO module can be configured as I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, 68K 8080 parallel bus, or PWM/ Waveform Generation. It’s a generic serial to parallel or parallel to serial interface that can even operate as a limited state machine.
