What is RoHS?

The Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive was set by the European Parliament and of the Council of January 27, 2003. This directive requires that electrical and electronic equipment does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent, chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, or polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
